They searched carefully alongside a neighbouring girl and discovered that the orphanage's library held the treasure: gold-binded books. The best part of the book was when Nicholas (main character) and his friend John tried not to awaken the whole orphanage in the middle of the night by opening horrifyingly loud and creeky doors.
