An enjoyable read, rooted in the Muggle world, with only some elements of magic and fey creatures. While this may qualify as urban fantasy, there is plenty of content in the real world. The tenor is breezy and charmingly sarcastic. the author gives us a steady diet of real world observation, police procedures and a good little mystery. It is the second book in the series and takes place just after events covered in the first book, so it is best to read them in order. The second book is more assured in its style, and I am looking forward to the next in the series.
