This book was great, far better than I expected it to be. I loved Flavia's character and her family. The mystery was fine, however I think The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie is more about Flavia than the actual mystery. Since I read this so quickly, I hardly noticed any clues to who the murderer was... All the stamp stuff got kind of tedious at times (I don't really care about how one person crept in and printed the MAGICAL ORANGE PENNY BLACKS) and sometimes details seemed a little unbelievable but altogether I recommend this book.
