This book was one of those finds that you locate on library shelves when you are hunting for something new to read. I was intrigued by the history aspect in a murder mystery. It was a good read, although I may have had my interest peaked enough that I may read another by Linda Fairstein. The characters seemed dynamic enough but there were flaws in the conclusion that you look forward at the conclusion of a mystery. Answers to the questions throughout the investigation were just remained unanswered left to the imagination to fill in. It seemed realistic almost to a fault to how a real murder investigation were to take place. A good read nonetheless.
