There were no boring moments in the film and the acting was stellar. I kept forgetting it was only a film and not real life and wanted to reach into it to slap some of the characters for their stupid behavior. Unfortunately, the one major flaw in this film was the apparently gratuitous filming of Japanese and Moroccan adolescents acting out sexually. These scenes wouldn't have been problematic If the sub-plots involving them were resolved in the movie as a whole: ie "sexually abused teens get rescued when police investigate unrelated issues." Left as they were, these scenes dangerously portray such behaviors as "normal" amongst adolescents, which they are not.
