Detailed history of the house(s) of Rothschild from inception to 1914. (summary for years to 1995). Perhaps this book is too detailed to be enjoyable. Recommended only for those who are extremely interested in the topic as the book is 1037 pages. Due to the nature of the Rothschild business in the 19th century it provides a history of the diplomacy and conflicts of the time in regards to the great powers of Europe. I think you really want to read this to enjoy it.
