Exceptional writing by Douglas Kennedy. He is not a 'filler' writer, meaning he does not add useless information just to fill the pages. Douglas' writing style grabs you from the first sentence and keeps you there throughout the entire novel. The intense jealousy of his wife's affair and throughout his travels across the country makes this novel a true page turner.
