These 6 short stories were written by French/Algerian author, Albert Camus in the years between 1949-1955.

Most of these stores are set in the location of Algeria (where Camus grew up) - Here the author writes of the nature of the human condition where feelings of loneliness and isolation prevails (even when one is amongst those in their own society).

*Note* - In 1957 - Camus was awarded the Noble Prize for Literature.

In 1960 - Albert Camus (46 at the time) was tragically killed in a road accident in France.

(*Watch video-clip of a "Camus" quotes*)

P.S. - I really like the eye-catching cover-art of this book's jacket.
