This is a great book to read with a toddler. My 2 year old liked to scold the antics of Sophie, "no no no". The expressions on grandma's face are so funny too. So cute!

Veteran author Rosemary Wells' exuberant heroine Sophie has fully embraced the terrible twos. Despite bouts with Mom and Dad that earned her time-outs (food-throwing and laundry-throwing, respectively), the seemingly irrepressible Sophie won't stop snatching Grandma's glasses during storytime. Clever Grandma retaliates by taking a time-out for herself - until Sophie gives in and tenderly places Grandma's glasses back on her nose. This charming take on the joys and terrors of toddlerhood is “sheer delight” (Kirkus Reviews).
