Good, average movie. Don't know why Nicholas cage always gets such a drubbing!

Was this a platform for Cage to get nominated to be a Climate Change Hero. The characters were transparent and the dialog predictable. A waste of time.

Uninspiring low budget dystopian film with a couple of ordinary twists. Cage looked weird with his jet-black dyed hairdo (implanted plugs?) and washed out expressions, just like the dialogue.

I think this movie would have been much better with a better actor. Nicholas Cage has become a joke in the way Al Pacino has. The premise of the movie is pretty good but the actors dropped the ball.

Another point on the seemingly endless downward arc of Nicholas Cage's career. Suprisingly, the story is actually pretty decent; the production, however, is another thing entirely. You will notice instantly, when Cage is first seen driving, the poor green screen blending. And it just gets worse from there. Apparently, NC is just acting for rent money now.

In the near future, after economic catastrophe and climate change came famine, the great migration and the civil war.
Those we've deemed expendable need to believe there's a better life waiting for them. They need hope. And we can't allow that illusion to be destroyed.
You have no income. You've exhausted all of your government benefits. How will you survive? You must be a productive citizen. It is the law. It is a crime to do otherwise. You're destitute. A burden to society. You have no grounds for an appeal under the rules.
I did what I had to do.
-Would you have killed him?
He thought so.
It's not wise to mess with Mother Nature. You can only spew so much
shxt into the air and water before she starts to fight back.
You must think you're tough, picking on a little kid. Someone should take a picture. You could show all your friends.
