Add a CommentVampires and aliens! Ugh! Anne Rice has officially run out of ideas for this series.
The Vampire Chronicles: born - 1976, died - 2016. R.I.P.
This piece had everything I loved about Anne in the early 90's and even felt nostalgic for those younger, more naive days. I had oxymoronic fantasies back then of wanting to die half the time or be immortal the other half. If I had known then I was going to make it to the wrong side of 40 and be doing cardio, core, power, sculpt yoga to boot, I would have taken much better care of myself. I mean a few extra laps and less of the St. Joe Speedballs (methamphetamine and methadone) wouldn't have hurt. Yes, Anne Rice has made Lestat great again and she probably just had to shake the cobwebs off after her Christian phase. I'm just grateful her and Dylan made it back from the Lord and I lived long enough to still enjoy them both.
Lestat and company brood, talk about love and deal with some organic humanoid robots from a planet of advanced birds.
