This book was a massive disappointment for someone who is constantly recommended EJD. The story is overly predictable and physically made me cringe at certain parts. It was like "Waiting to Exhale" fan-fiction with "new" characters and the only research they did for this was read Buzzfeed articles.

Currently reading - I admit that I was drawn in by the gorgeous cover (and the fact that I'd not yet read a book by such a famous author). The characters are interesting, the dialogue is fast and sassy, and OOH BOY is it raunchy in spots. Not for the faint of heart! It's a large book but moves fast :)

This was not vintage Eric Jerome Dickey. I didn't enjoy this one probably because his characters were not believable and the story predictable? Was disappointed.
