#3 in the series of Cavendon Woman: I enjoyed this book but not as much as the first too. There are a lot of characters in this book and a lot of talk about the war. If you have lived with someone who was in the war you might think twice about skipping this one and move on to the next one. I skipped a lot of pages as it was getting a little boring. The book could have been cut in half. But don't let me discourage you from reading it. It is a great story line. So now on to the last in the series, #4.

Very good read with lots of historical references around WW2 and lives of English aristocracy -- Bradford at her best!
