Read this third instalment in the serious - Looooved it. I thought this series was very original and unlike most apocalyptic themes ended with a hopeful outcome.

A disappointing end to a good trilogy.

Third book in the trilogy. The storytelling is still done well but no new, well done characterizations which was a strength in the previous novels. The plot is a bit more thin then the previous two but worth reading if you are interested and certainly worth reading if you have read the previous books. Reading the books in order is also recommended.

The last in the trilogy that pulled together all the loose ends. A happy conclusion that could easily produce a fourth book???

My brother's wife recently reminded me that at Grateful Dead shows in the 80's I would call out a Code Red and set up a perimeter around anyone that passed out due to heat, drug or alcohol exhaustion. This trilogy, current world events and local mayhem made me a little paranoid about our future especially with every despot and super power on our planet tending to weaponize every technology discovered. I hope some aliens, Great Spirit, God, angels or something out there is putting up a perimeter around this planet because I'm sure we are on the brink of some kind of man made extinction event.

A bit underwhelming as an ending for what started as potentially a modern classic dystopian/scifi/fantasy trilogy.
It seemed a hurried attempt to tie up loose ends &, to this reader at least, lacked any real punch. The resolution was on the whole unsatisfying... perhaps should've stayed as a short story...?!?
This book took care of #ReadATrilogy (book3) for my #2015ReadingChallenge

Given what comes before this third book in the trilogy, it's a bit anti-climatic. But it still kept my attention and was a good read.

All the questions are answered in this closing book of the Silo trilogy. I have really enjoyed reading the series and highly recommend those that enjoy sci-fi writing, and even those that don't, give the trilogy a try.
