Add a CommentGreat book for my 3 year old grand twins. My grandson loves that the trucks were taking naps and my granddaughter points out every time that one of the trucks is a girl (she has curly eyelashes). The stop and go concept is great for this age as they are learning about crossing streets or watching street lights telling us whether we can go or stop. And the yellow "slow down" ball shows up at the end of the book to tell traffic or people to slow down because "stop" is coming up next!
A great picture book for the younger set, with extremely simple, yet appealing illustrations of anthropomorphized vehicles learning to balance the concepts of "stop" and "go". The story is good, and the drawings are easy enough for parents and kids to replicate as a drawing exercise. Even I, who have no drawing talent whatsoever, was able to dazzle my kids with my ability to recreate these cute little trucks with markers on paper.
Great baby book that allows parents to teach children the difference between stop and go, as well as the importance of balance between the two. You also get to yell 'stop' and 'go' lots, which is also fun!
