Decent little story about five black cats out for a walk who wind up in a haunted castle. Not strictly Halloween themed, but it would be a good story to read around that time of year. It's not actually scary at all, so it's suitable for young children. The rhymes are decent and the meter is pretty good.
On paper, this ought to be a 5 star book but, for some reason, it didn't grab me (or my kids) enough for that. So, I'll give it 4 stars instead.
