"Utterly charming . . . Put Sophie Kinsella's Number on speed dial."-- USA Today

Poppy Wyatt has never felt luckier. She is about to marry her ideal man, Magnus Tavish, but in one afternoon her "happily ever after" begins to fall apart. Not only has she lost her engagement ring in a hotel fire drill, but in the panic that follows, her phone is stolen. As she paces shakily around the lobby, she spots an abandoned phone in a trash can. Finders keepers! Now she can leave a number for the hotel to contact her when they find her ring. Perfect!

Well, perfect except that the phone's owner, businessman Sam Roxton, doesn't agree. He wants his phone back and doesn't appreciate Poppy reading his messages and wading into his personal life.

What ensues is a hilarious and unpredictable turn of events as Poppy and Sam increasingly upend each other's lives through emails and text messages. As Poppy juggles wedding preparations, mysterious phone calls, and hiding her left hand from Magnus and his parents, she soon realizes that she is in for the biggest surprise of her life.

"A rollicking page-turner . . . It's funny. It's clever. It twists and turns. . . . Sophie Kinsella has yet another winner." --Fort Worth Star-Telegram

"Fresh, fast-paced, and fiercely funny . . . Kinsella pens her most lovably neurotic protagonist yet. . . . A laugh-out-loud comic caper."-- Publishers Weekly

"Poppy is easily as charming and daffy as shopaholic Rebecca Bloomwood." --Kirkus Reviews

"A screwball romance for the digital age." --The Star-Ledger

In the mood for a beach read? Sophie Kinsella's "I've Got Your Number" is quick, light, and funny. In this book, main character Poppy Wyatt loses her engagement ring and cell phone in one outing gone horribly wrong. Sophie happens to find a cell phone in a trash can and quickly makes it her own, passing out the number as a contact if someone finds her engagement ring. We soon meet the owner of the cell, Sam Roxton a handsome, young businessman. Sam, of course would like the phone back, but Poppy is determined to keep it. What ensures is a romantic, comedy with Poppy inserting herself into Roxton's business and Sam pointing out flaws to Poppy's seemly happy engagement. Sit back and get ready for a laugh and a good read. — Kelly C., St. Louis Park Library

One lost engagement ring. One lost cell phone, AND one found cell phone. These add up to an unexpected romance.

Great romance novel! I loved the format of the book as well as the plot. Readers will fall in love with the characters as the characters fall in love with each other.

This was a fun read that delivered on humor and romance. The writing comes across pretty light weight and silly, especially after some more recent literary reads. But that's just this genre, and the author works well within it, creating likable characters and good baddies. Came together really well!

Coarse Language: There are a lot of f-bombs throughout the book as well as God's name taken in vain. Some d*mn and s*it.
