Okay, I couldn't finish. There is a love web (it goes beyond triangle with the number of people involved) filled with way too much drama. The characters also fight/are catty with each other instead of trying to effectively and maturely communicate. It doesn't even feel like a realistic set of relationships. The supernatural element is not enough to hold me.
This is the second book to Unspoken. It is just as good as the first book.
I loved the first book! Untold was great but now im just waiting for the 3rd book! Ive been wanting to by the series in the future but never got to it..
What a place to leave it! The prospect of waiting until September for the next book is kind of horrifying. If you get desperate for a little more Lynburn while you wait, try the three short stories on the author's website. They were pretty good.
I lked it up to the end. The books just kind of stops, which is something im not a fan of. Overall, though, great book.
Somewhat of a boring read. Plot was loose and thin and too much teenage drama gave me a headache. Would've liked to read more of the actual history of Sorry-in-the-Vale and its old (founding?) families. Even if Kami was to be excluded from the preparation for the sorcerers' battle, I feel the readers shouldn't have been. A chapter or two from Lillian's POV would've been good. Regardless, nice to read the lengths people go to protecting their families which can sometimes be more harmful than beneficial.
