It's Silence of the Lambs meets Speed as down-on-her-luck former bomb-squad ace Carol Starkey plays cat-and-mouse with a serial bomber. . . . Crais knows how to press all the right buttons in keeping the story line taut and the action, well, explosive."

Robert Crais is a very good detective /thriller writer - and thsi is no exception - Carol Starkey is a great character - and in this case persued by a "real crazy" who is believeable - the end ... well there has to be an end and it must be action - but teh story is great. Good to have read when Carol turns up with Elvis Cole and Joe later on.......

I think this is the best book by Crais that I've read so far. Excellent!
