Though it was interesting enough for me to read through to the end, this book contains my absolute least favourite YA cliché: introduce an important and interesting topic only to forget about it and instead write a romance. I've seen this way too many times for me to have any patience with it, and so this book was truly disappointing. However, the stars I gave it were for its attempt to tackle deeper topics, as well as its avoidance of stereotypes.

This was an good book for young adults, it shows that everyone has problems, but you have to do the work to work through them and not blame everyone else for the situations you get yourself into. This book was a quick read, and even though the teen years happened for me a long time ago, I could still identify with some of the feelings and thoughts that these characters were going through. Worth the read, I think you will like it too.

How close the main characters in the book was great. And it showed how group therapy can be very helpful from the perspective of the people who go to it.

Kind of a neat book. The setting is a school for teenagers who need therapy for a variety of reasons. The main characters are in the same anger management group and form pretty strong friendships. I have never really understood how a group setting in therapy works but this book shows how it can work. The teens hold each other accountable in a way that a therapist could not. Good book!
