Very intriguing, and made me think. I had read this a year or two ago, and enjoyed it much more the second time. The Mark is seen as good, and without it, life is hard and dangerous. Both Logan and Erin are interesting characters forced to come to grips with realities they would rather not see. I'm guessing that this is end-times fiction, but it is very different from the Left-Behind series. Unique views are good, and can be very enlightening. Read and think about.

Holy Cow, this book is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First of all, as a Christian, I was very interested in a book that deals with The Mark (which, I'm assuming is the Mark of the Beast), and the idea of a boy finding the Markless, and the whole idea of the story is just so interesting I jumped in and read. It was a bit slow in the beginning, but IT IS SO WORTH IT. Angler's writing style is GREAT, considering this is only his first book! The characters are some of my favorites: Logan is a great main character, who has fears and wants like all of us. Erin's perspective is much different from Logan's, and although she does annoy me a bit, I’m interested as to how she will get involved with the Markless, and how it will all work out since she’s already Marked(!!!!!). Blake is still in the shadows, and I REALLY want to know more about him. Hailey and Dane are also somehow connected to this story line, and I can’t wait to see how everything fits in the end. And don’t forget Lily. Oh, the book ended on a sort of cliff, and I WANT TO READ THE NEXT ONE!!!!!!!!!!
