Yup, its Zeppelin in their sixties. Do they have the energy of Zeppelin circa '73 ? heck no. Do they rock? Yes...unbelievably so! One of the best reunion/reminiscent concerts of all the legendary bands. They really pulled it off with integrity, proving they were always 'the real deal'. Great musicians...even as old guys. Much respect.

For anyone who hasn't ever heard of Led Zeppelin, these talented, British dudes (who reigned supreme throughout the psychedelic 70s) were, at the height of their careers, the undisputed Gods of Heavy Metal/Rock'n'Roll, bar none._____ Now, in 2007 (nearly 40 years after their inception), Led Zeppelin reunited at 02 Arena, London, to treat their ever-loyal fans (young & old) to a trip down memory lane as they delivered 16 of their best remembered tunes (including Stairway To Heaven) to an enthusiastically cheering crowd._____ With the 3 remaining original members of Led Zeppelin now being 60+ years old, I honestly have to say that I found their performance on stage to be noticeably tired and lacking in any youthful vitality. Even though Plant, Page & Jones were obviously well-rehearsed for this concert (and Plant even got a new perm for the occasion), I couldn't help but notice that (between all of the robotic, rockstar gestures and posturing) there was a decidedly bored look on all of their 3 faces._____ This, in turn, made it very difficult for me to watch these dudes with any real enjoyment while they (rather listlessly) strut around on stage like peacocks at half mast._____ Anyways - I'd say that this DVD titled "Celebration Day" was at least worth a view. But, personally speaking, I'm one who prefers to remember Led Zeppelin as they were in the days of their youth, rather than as I saw them now as stiff, old men trying (desperately?) to retain an image of who they were 30+ years ago, that has long ago faded away into the past.

A dream come true. Jason played with all his heart and made a seamless connection with the original three. Dad would be very proud indeed. A very excellent show. Full of the fireworks and finesse you expect from these very fine muscians.

These Flower Power provocateurs have transcended the ages, traveling the crossroads from the deepest depths of Mordor to the gates of Valhalla. Keith Moon labelled this group as a failing airship of poor design, but they have written some of the greatest songs ever about Vikings and Hobbits, and they nicked only the best Delta blues songs. A Canadian flag can be seen in the audience in the last few seconds, way cool.

Iconic rock gods take the stage along with the son of their late drummer (Jason standing in admirably for the irreplaceable John Bonham) for the 1st reunion concert in 30 years. The band treats a live (and lively) audience to a charged performance of their great hits. The DVD (also the CD) is beautifully mastered for excellent sound quality -- after all, they took 5 years to perfect it! The camera work does the band justice. Anyone who would call this show "boring" would be better suited to reviewing Justin Bieber concerts.
