The dogs are cute and each has a distinct personality. Other than that: Meh. As a parent I was not fond of the 'let's run away from home, it's fun!" theme. As a children's librarian, I was disappointed in the uneven anthropomorphization of the dogs, the lack of character for the humans, and the overly simplistic ending.
