Chronicling a young girl's coming-of-age, an acclaimed actress tells the story of Anna, her broken family, and life on the road--fleeing from social workers, schools, and society itself, but hanging on to love and loyalty.
One of the best books I've ever read. This is a thinly disguised autobiography of the young actress who played in The Big Chill, and she blows the whistle on those who neglected and abused her and her sister (actress Jennifer Tilly) when they were little girls.
Actress Meg Tilly's fictionalized memoir of her childhood. It is set in the Puget Sound region. I vaguely recall that she told me the haunting photo of the girl on the cover is Meg.
The book chronicles generations of abuse.
