Great ending to a great series! I was really happy with how it turned out.

Love it when the main character chooses the right guy to be with. It just gives me a warm feeling of hope whenever there is a love triangle that involves an obviously correct choice.

Wendy is in a predicament. About to start her life in a loveless marriage, she works to juggle the duties of taking over the kingdom for her sick mother, figure out a way to end the threat the Vittra pose, and get a handle on her feelings for a certain tracker and Vittra Markis. It's safe to say that her life has not turned out to be a piece of cake. But she has to fight for it, has to do all she can for her people, because if she doesn't they may not survive. The question remains; how far is she willing to go, what is she willing to sacrifice, for her kingdom?

This book was really entertaining and kept my attention the whole time. Sometimes I felt like things were a little rushed or slightly anticlimactic, but I still enjoyed the book. Wendy's struggles were at times hard to read about and left me with a lump in my throat, so I guess you can say the emotions she dealt with were conveyed well. A really great ending to this series, with some vague mentions of the other troll tribes (aka the Kanin, which also apparently have a trilogy!).

As this trilogy is finished, I was surprised by the author's decision to allow Wendy to end up with Loki. I was, however, glad that author Hocking tied up any loose ends and made a happy ending for all the characters involved.

She ended up with Loki? Why!? I was team Finn all the way! And now just reading the comments and finding out that she ends up with Loki? I don't think I want to read it. I think that she should have changed the laws about a tracker and a royal together and the whole kingdom be happy! I'm still going to read it; but I don't think that I am going to switch over to liking Loki better than Finn. I will be truly upset if I still don't think that Loki deserves Wendy at the end of the book. :(

A good end to the series but many of the final outcomes are predictable. A fun read however, that is both here and there.

A disappointing end to the series. I thought the first book was great, the second lost it a bit, and this one was just dull. Too much 'duty' and serious queen business for my liking, I suppose. And Loki was fine (not that likeable but ok), sure, but what the heck happened to Finn?? Wendy's madly in love with him one day and *boom* the next day she's over it?? ...well, at least that is the impression I got in this book from what happens. Lame, lame, lame.

I LOVE this whole Trylle triology!! Every book left me happy , energtic, and wanting more. I loved how all the characters played an important role in each book and in her life. However i really thought she would end up wtih Finn. I didn't give the book the full five stars because I was disappointed more than sand that she didn't end up with Finn. I liked Loki tough, I think they made a great couple also , but it general it's hard to get over your first love. I know it was hard for her but she knew what she had to do. These books seemed so real to me. At the end of each book I wanted to be a beautiful princess with magical powers. I like this book least from her others two books. I found the first one the best. I love her writing , and I can't wait to read more of her books. I loved the ending too. It was a happily ever after. I will never forget this amazing story. Four stars.

Honestly I loved the first book, the second one was meh, and the only reason I continued reading was to see Wendy get together with Finn.
So obviously I was extremely pissed off at the end of this book.
The author has no real sense of writing in my opinion, as she's just cramming all the things that need to happen in the book, and I believe she has mentioned that she writes her books in three weeks, and it SHOWS. Her books are rushed and gives you no love for it. I feel as though she tries too hard when writing, and maybe this is just my opinion, but I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone except maybe to complain with them.
So here I am being a spoilsport, don't read it.

See my reviews of previous books in the trilogy, Swithced and Torn.
Hard to say much without being a spoiler. Twists and turns eventually lead to an ending. At least the author wrapped things up. This series was better than some and has enough of the classic teen paranormal romance with action tropes to please many teens.
