Lencioni discusses one of the more underestimated problems in business: bad meetings. He frames his solution in the form of a fable, in which Casey McDaniel, the CEO of a mediocre software company which has recently been acquired by a larger company, faces the possibility that he may lose his company if he doesn't improve his meetings. He finds an unlikely advisor in his temporary administrative assistant, Will Peterson, who puts forth a new meeting model.
