The truth has eluded her for years. . . . Now is she ready to face it?

When Eve Duncan gave birth to her daughter, she experienced a love she never knew existed. Nothing would stand in the way of giving Bonnie a wonderful life---until the unthinkable happened and the seven-year-old vanished into thin air. Eve found herself in the throes of a nightmare from which there was no escape. But a new Eve emerged: a woman who would use her remarkable talent as a forensic sculptor to help others find closure in the face of tragedy. Now with the help of her beloved Joe Quinn and CIA agent Catherine Ling, Eve has come closer than ever to the truth. But the deeper she digs, the more she realizes that Bonnie's father is a key player in solving this monstrous puzzle. And that Bonnie's disappearance was not as random as everyone had always believed . . .

Eve Duncan's 7 year old daughter Bonnie is mysteriously abducted Eve uses all of her contacts and wit to find her. This is the third in a trilogy, and it is best to start at the beginning because the relationships between the characters is really confusing. Didn't finish it.

I PICKED UP "QUINN" OUT OF CURIOSITY,& THE NEED TO READ, SOON CURIOSITY SET IN ABOUT THE OTHER BOOKS IN THE SERIES. I'M ON THE LAST CHAPTER OF AN EXHAUSTING EFFORT.AFTER "LITERALLY" BEING DRAGGED ON BY SO MANY UNEXPLAINED CHARACTERS & LONG WINDED DISCUSSIONS BETWEEN QUINN & EVE... I KNEW THIS WASN'T NECCESARILLY MY CUP OF TEA.THE LITTLE TWISTS & TURNS HELPED PIQUE MY INTEREST ... JUST A LITTLE... BUT AFTER READING ALL THE REVIEWS & SEEING ALL THE EXTENSIVE TITLES "PRE/POST" THE QUINN OUTLET, I'VE DECIDED NOT TO ENGULF MYSELF IN THIS JOURNEY OF GREAT EFFING NONSENSE...THX BUT NO THX MRS. JOHANSEN... IL'L FINISH THE LAST CHAPTER "BECAUSE I LIKE FINISHING WHAT I STARTED.THANK YOU TO THE SOOO MANY REVIEWERS FOR SAVING MY INTELLECTUAL HIDE..MRS. JOHANSEN , YOUR'E WRITTEN OFF...IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE...

I was very disappointed with this book. I found it very boring and a waste of time. I usually enjoy this author but the trilogy was underwhelming. I no longer cared who killed Bonnie; I just wanted it finished.

It is always so sad when a series ends. Eve has finally found her Bonnie and now knows what has happened to her little girl. Very good book, I am sorry to say good bye to Eve, Bonnie and the rest of the gang.

I haven't yet read "Bonnie," but I have to agree with the 3 prior comments completely. The story's drug on throughout not just this trilogy, but even into several other Eve Duncan books. This could've easily been condensed into one book. I'm not even sure I want to try to wade through this 3rd book, as Johansen has repeated so many details in the 1st two books that I've all but lost any urge I may have had to read another Eve Duncan story. Iris Johansen's a good author, so I'm hoping her next book is better than this.

It took 3 books by Iris Johansen to complete this story when it could easily have been completed in one. The constant appearance of a missing child's spirit/ghost is beyond belief, and the story drags on forever with mushy dialogue and endless chases through the woods.
I can only hope for better in her next book.
