This is a great book for anyone who spends time with kids under 5. The projects are broken down and described well and the overall approach is perfect: give little kids space and supplies and let 'em go.

I already love this book and only checked it out this morning!! It is so well organized, filled with great ideas and recipes, and completely on target... not swerving off topics with ideas for older children, for example. Clearly the author knew her subject matter and is filled with creative ideas.

There are no photos in this book, which is actually just fine. There are some illustrations. Cute. Not too many.

When one or two playdough recipes would have sufficed, she instead provides MANY... wonderful especially if you don't have the materials on hand for one recipe over another.

I cannot wait to try some of these projects with my child. And I have no doubt I will re-check out this book later in the year to refresh my memory with some of the ideas I overlooked and still have yet to try.
