This book is not appropriate for young children. The pictures are graphic and the story is very violent. I made the mistake of reading it to my 5 year old daughter before previewing. She was bawling by the end despite my best efforts to censor the content.

Tragic story not appropriate for a toddler bedtime story

Stolen from another reviewer, but perfectly said: A little corner of the Holocaust, seen through the eyes of a teddy bear
