I've been sewing for a couple of decades, so I already have a great deal of knowledge on sewing, stitching, and dying fabric. I wanted the book for the projects. Although there are some cute projects, there is nowhere near enough space to describe the process of making them in great detail. Many of these projects are given only one page! I was excited about making the stuffed animals, but they are each given only one page and not enough to make the project simple. Same goes for the aprons. There's a multi-compartment bag on p 127 that would be versatile and fun to make, but the instructions are only four small paragraphs and a one inch thumbnail photo. Sorry, but I need something of more substance. If I'm going to guess I might as well make my own pattern. Another pet peeve is that a CD is included with the book and you have to first find the right template, then print it, then blow it up with a photocopier. What a major pain. For a rectangular bag, she just could've given the measurements. This is marketing at its worst. The book is way too big to sit comfortably on your sewing table, the projects are poorly described, and the accompanying CD is worthless because you'll still need a photocopier. If you want to make some cute sewing projects, I suggest Debbie Shore's books.

I just got this book and it is supposed to come with a CD of printable patterns but the CD is missing from the back of the book. Very sad and unfortunate.

This book gives some interesting ideas from simple aprons and pillowcases to duvets, dolls and quilts. Pick your project from among these great ideas, visit your local fabric store and begin! It’s incredibly easy.

Fantastic craft book, but not for beginners.

Good manual and projects for beginners and intermediate sewers. PDFs for some projects make their creation a breeze.
