Would recommend this to any woman who has faced marital and health crises, especially those who appreciate quilting. This is a story of pain, change and ultimate triumph. Excellent!

I quite enjoyed this first Cobbled Court Quilts novel. Each chapter focused on one of the characters, so we got to see from their perspectives, and we got to watch them meet, start tentative friendships, and come together to deal with various traumas and dramas in their lives. Everything seemed pretty well wrapped up at the end, yet I see that there are more books in this series. I'll be reserving the next one soon.

I really liked this book. Number of different characters all very likably flawed all of them grow through coming together as unlikely friends. They help each other and are there to listen and hear each others cares, concerns, and dreams. The fact they come together doing something very creative like a quilting circle is also very appealing to me! There is a little bit of a mystery to be solved in this story as well.

First in a Trilogy, I think
