This bittersweet manga continues with Ann trying to cope with living and going to school in Tokyo, while her heart stays is Shimane with Daigo. Meanwhile her friendshi with Fuji deepens, with Ann not really understanding what that means.

Back in Shimane, Fuji's sister finds out more about the family secret and it isn't pretty. This sends her into a spiral, and she seeks Daigo for comfort, especially after a traumatic event.

Author Hinako Ashihara has given us an accurate, if angst filled portrait of adolescence. Characters deal with secrets and tragedies the only way they know how, sometimes acting selfishly, hurting themselves and the people they love in the process. Main character Ann can be a little difficult to take at times, and it is hard to see what she sees in Daigo as she is clearly miles above him.

A manga that is at times predictable, but still has enough true emotion in it to be worth the read.
