I really wanted to like this book more, because the author pulls in lots of information about the oil industry, political corruption in complicity with the ultra-repressive Saudi regime, and the blunders of U.S. foreign policy. The problem is, the book is just atrociously written...stilted, awkward, and superficial. The author is obviously hoping to educate some of the mass "action thriller" audience about the political realities of neoconservative foreign policy, and I wish him luck...and also wish he was a better writer!
Mainly for conspiracy buffs.
