Sharpe’s Challenge DVD. --- Produced in 2006, this video based on Bernard Cornwell Sharpe Adventures this episode benefits from much more lavish production than the older predecessors. The sets are more realistic, there is a huge cast of extras as compared to the often sparsely populated scenes of the older editions. The rockets are realistic and the supporting animal cast includes not only Brahmin cows and real life donkeys but even real elephants.
This av
Adventure takes place in India of 1817. Sharpe, years in retirement, is asked to go to In dia and find his old fighting friend friend Pat . If you want the low-down on the plot, go to Our charactders have aged a little but they are still the real McCoy. If you enjoyed the earlier Sharpes’, you really enjoy this one.
A real Sharpe fan can’t find enough stars to rate this DVD

Sharpe's back, although the location has changed from the Peninsular Wars to the British Empire's foothold in India. The lack of Sharpe's company of riflemen are missed, but with Sharpe joined by his old friend and sidekick Harper, this film provides all the action and derring-do fans have come to expect from the Sharpe film series.
