OK. D-Day may have had a big budget, high production values and a big-name cast, like Robert Taylor and Richard Todd, but this 1956, WW2 picture (that focusses in on the massive invasion of Normandy, France on June 6, 1944) was far too slow-moving for my liking._____ It didn't help matters much that a really trite romantic-triangle was introduced into the story where the 2 male leads (allied military men) were both in love with the same woman and (get this) the outcome at Normandy was going to determine which one of these 2 mighty brave boys was going to return home to her. (Spare me!)_____ At best, D-Day was a so-so WW2 Drama.
