Good ol' sensless anime explosions, matrial-arts, giant robots and various types of pointless violence. Not that I'm against violence, but this movie's action was actually boring.

It's completely rendered in CGI and instead of being visually stuning, the animation comes off as even colder than other CGI films and less expressive than video game cut-scenes.

It's sci-fi themes are cliched and perfunctory. You're better off playing a video game than watching this movie.
