GOOD 1983 teen flavor movie with young Tom Cruise.
Some over the top plot elements compared to 50's and 60's teen flicks...

If you want a comedy, try "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" instead. Risky Business is a drama full of bad decisions with two funny scenes.

One ofTom Cruise's classics with memorable lines and scenes still intact.

If FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF turned into BOOGIE NIGHTS, you would have RISKY BUSINESS. An intriguing film, looking at the extreme pressures on adolescents to be everything impressive all at once while depriving them of the joys of that transitional age, a good teen boy with a bright future as a business major takes a walk on the wild side while his parents are away and deals with the repercussions. Fun and entertaining, never dull, this film rides the line between dramedy and raunchfest, and boy, does it ride it well. For the oversaturated eighties teen genre, RISKY BUSINESS is one of the better films, and so, I would recommend it.
