Well written children's story. I was expecting Edwina to disappear after Reginald convinced her she was extinct (a la Puff the Magic Dragon), so was pleasantly surprised by the ending.
The illustrations are cute and appropriately childish.

Mo Willems has a lot of books these days. This one is a keeper!

The first Mo Willems book I ever read, at the Tattered Cover, before I became a storytime specialist or even started knew what I was about. Edwina is a modern day Danny The Dinosaur and this book has a great villain in 9-year old know it all Reginald VonHoobieDoobie.

Great story about how words can hurt and how to stand above them. Nice pictures to go with the story. Honestly love everything by Mo Willems for preschool age kids.

Another great selection written and illustrated to Mo Willems. Includes the best name ever for a villain in a picture book.
