Thriller about a collected group of businessmen, politicians and industrial bigwigs who use their influence to impose their narrow- minded ideology on those who don't agree with them, even resorting to using henchmen- former military personnel - to impose their will or even - kill. The corruption leads all the way to the highest level of government and corporate interests. Included in all of this is a plot against the "liberal president and the historical origin of the society

This sounded really boring but I liked the cover. And it was cool. Wall St banker's life suddenly turns to custard because the sneaky power boys are pulling strings behind the scenes and plotting to kill the new President.

I went beyond the 100-page rule. I gave this book 150 pages but it failed to grasp me or even make sense. I knew where the plot wanted to go, but I felt like the book was not taking me there
