This book is written for parents to read with their child or by the child alone (though discussion would be good) about the label of "learning disability" and what that means as well as suggested resources and tips to help the child interact with others at school.
I really liked the way the book is written in very easy and casual language about what it means to be labeled "LD", to have an "IEP", to be in a "LD" class (although separate "LD" classes are rare nowadays), and what the child can do to help him or herself with schoolwork and getting along with other children. It was "straight talk" with an encouraging message to the children. LIKED IT.
