Fabulous book for introducing cooking to young children. It's simple and fun to use. Our children (3.5 and 5) loved reading it as a book and were very interested in choosing recipes to cook together (almost all of them!). In the beginning of each recipe there is helpful information for the parent, then there are simple pictures for the kids to follow step-by-step while you cook together. In the span of a week we probably made half of the recipes together and enjoyed eating them as well. This particular cookbook is a vegetarian one (although we are not), and the authour has another one, Pretend Soup, that we are waiting for from the library. Can't wait!
