Michael Jordan, of NBA fame, makes it clear that his phenomenal success can in large part be attributed to the teachers, mentors, and friends who have guided him throughout his life. This is a book about the power of collaboration and teamwork, and the energy that is released when people share their gifts and hard-won knowledge.

The book driven from within is a book about Michael Jordan in his many obsticles in life.It starts off talking about how Jordan grew up in North Carolina and not being any type of high prospect. He didn’t even watch the NBA as a kid.He wasn’t slightly noticed until he was invited to a camp which featured stars like Patrick Ewing and other basketball legends where he played mostly mediocre. He then went on to play for the college North Carolina and was then drafted to the Nba.From there on it talks about how Jordan made the name for himself that everyone knows him by.Including his championships, shoes 1-15 and even towards the business ownership towards the end of his career.

I feel like this is a great inspiring book.I like how they gave the plot about he had little to no scouts at all looking at him and it still didn’t stop him from rising to stardom.I also like the descriptions they gave about his shoes because i’m a big fan of his shoes myself so it was pretty interesting to know how they came to the idea for each shoe. Then what completes the book his his trials he has to go through to get his 6 rings he has earned and also the business side he has to go through when his career is over to continue his wealth and become the billionaire he is today.

I recommend this book to first basketball players because it gives that inspiring story of a non-scouted kid becoming the greatest of all time.I also advise this to just Jordan fans in general because it gives the background to his rise to stardom and fame and he even became your favorite player.Lastley I advise this book to people who just need confidence. You don’t need the fame and the glory to be successful in life just stick to what you believe in and know.
