Another great movie by Majīd Majīdī. A bit of an emotional roller coaster in this one. Beautiful scenery in rural Iran. Well worth the watch. I wish Hollywood would take notice and see that you don’t need a big budget to make a good movie.

I really enjoyed the this movie. A glimpse into rural life in Iran, as well as into the life of a boy who is physically blind, but not blind to the beauty of connection with others and nature. A lovely, poignant story about life.

Another Majid Majidi masterpiece. "The Color of Paradise" follows the life and trials of a wonderful blind Iranian boy and his father who plots to disown him. A brilliantly filmed magical movie; you'll want to see it many times. Look beyond the 'sad' ending for the meaning of the title.
