A Loyal Character Dancer was a very interesting mystery of a highly classified operation between China and the U.S. Chief Inspector Chen Cao gets to work with a lovely U.S. Marshall to find the missing spouse of a material witness in the trial of major human trafficker. They get involved with Triads and Gangsters and delicious Chinese cuisine and culture. Cao the Poet plies his first love ,that of the verse ,in solving this one as well. This was his very well written 2nd Det. Chen Cao novel.

If this is repeated, I'm sorry. I can't really tell if it took the first time.
Loyal Character Dancer the 2nd Inspector Chen Cao series novel is a winner again. This one takes you to the smaller cities and countryside and introduces you to the inept local police. To help Chen share that travel time is a beautiful U.S. Marshall. It's all not cool though, when the Flying Axes (need I tell you where they got their name?) join the party. A very good read. You'll love it. It as the 1st is filled with Chinese folklore, poetry and plenty of good Chinese cuisine.

I read books, not downloads! I am extremely annoyed at not being able to put a hold on this book. Who do you think you are--putting controls on what I can and cannot read? I want this book. How can I get it as a book not a stupid download?

Is this book available as an interlibrary loan?
