This is a great cookbook for those wishing to make tasty vegetarian meals but many of the recipes also work well with the addition of meat and other non-vegetarian/vegan proteins. The Bombay hummous is an excellent departure from everyday hummous receipes. The Rebar chocolate cake is a superb, fudgey cake ... sinfulness at its finest. Try the buttermilk corncakes and the orange yogurt hotcakes as a delicious addition to weekend breakfasts. Yup...I'm a foodie and I just love this cookbook. Wish they'd put out another one!

This book has 4 unique veggie burgers that are neither soy nor lentil based. We have them frozen for use all summer. Vegetarians and vegans will be amazed at how unique and easy to make these recipes really are. They are based on the menus of a famous Victoria BC restaurant. However, as you work your way the recipes, you may have to stock you pantry with some new items.

One of my favourite cookbooks! I especially love the cranberry hazelnut granola and the salad dressings. Some the ingredients were new to me and could be hard to source (but worth finding or substituting).
