I can't believe the positive comments that have been made about this book. It makes me suspicious about who is writing them. This book was a huge letdown. I agree with the commenters who say it was a phoned in, boring book. I am sure…

I wish people wouldn't put spoilers in the Comment section.
The last book was not as good as the others, but was still an interesting read. The last and final book in the series left me wanting more.

Loved the last book of the series, a bit sad to finish the series ;( The ending wasn't bad, I think Charlaine Harris wrapped up everything nicely

Harris wrapped up the storylines for many of the characters we had come to know and love (or hate) throughout the series. Of course there will be haters because of who Sookie ends up with, however, with Sookie having at the very least…

This is the final entry in the Sookie Stackhouse series. At last!
The 13th entry in the popular series starts with a bang, as a former friend of Sookie is killed, and Sookie is charged with the murder. As Sookie tries to find the true…

I am both sad and happy to see the series come to an end. While the book did not blow me away, it was enough to leave me content and satisfied that Sookie will finally be able to find some peace. I had sensed from the previous books that…

I was glad to finish this series - I have invested so much time over the years. But it felt worn and preachy - Sookie seemed a bit too full of herself and her superiority. Mystery wasn't well fleshed out and mostly served to have old…

While the Sookie Stackhouse books are labeled as mystery, I’ve always considered them to fall within the fantasy genre. After all, they are about a telepath, vampires, shape shifters, witches, demons, etc. I’m sure that there have been…

I wasn't disappointed with the HEA, but I agree that it did seem that Harris lost steam or interest in this last Sookie novel. This was not the feisty, amusing, vivacious Sookie I've come to know and love. This Sookie was boring and…
