Ew no. I didn't like any of the characters' personalities, and was surprised at the amount of negative content in this book. However, Vivian has good writing style, so it really depends on what you're looking for in a book.

I really wish this book was in a series or at least had a sequel. I guess I'll just have to imagine what happened to all the girls. There are some refreshing plot twists throughout and though I probably wouldn't read it again, it was just…

I enjoyed this book and was anticipating how it would end but was very let down by the ending. Nothing was really resolved which was very frustrating. I was hoping maybe there would be a sequel but I found there isn't.

I'm sorry, but this book was pretty hard. Cut and cold. That ending was so horrible, not even resolving the conflict with the girls. I under stand you need 8 girls, but I think that it was too many. Overall, I didn't think this book…

This book underscores the actuality of today's society, which demands for vulnerable teenage girls to be "perfect," an overrated terms which many girls strive to be.

I thoroughly enjoyed The List by Siobhan Vivian. The book is an inside look at the social status of Mount Washington High, and features 8 girls who have all been singled out and put on: The List. Every year The List is posted around the…

I enjoyed reading The List by Siobhan Vivian, I’m not going to call it a masterpiece or anything but it was a nice, entertaining and quick read for teens. The story follows eight different girls in high school that have been affected by…

I have to say this was another one of those typically high school books but the Author was able to get more that just the popular girls or the nerd perspective on everything. This is probably why I liked the book so much. Sometimes it did…

I loved it! I just wished the author had painted a better picture in my mind of what each girl looked like. I couldn't get a clear idea of their image.

At Mount Washington High a list is posted school-wide just before homecoming, on it are listed the prettiest girl and the ugliest girl from each class. How will this list affect each of these eight girls?

A good read with many ideas being presented. The characters are left in a kind of limbo at the end and nothing is completely resolved. Interesting perspective on beauty however.

I thought it was an alright book, nothing ever really got settled in the end, but I guess that was the point. It was kind of dull at some points. The idea itself was very interesting, but it could've turned out alot better. This book was…

This was definitely an unexpectedly interesting book. I agree with a lot of other reviewers, about how each character wasn't throughly developed, but I still ended up with strong opinions and feelings about each of them. It was kind of a…

I thought that it was actually pretty interesting. I honestly expected a whole big blow out at some point and expected there to be a TON more drama, but it was mostly about each girl overcoming their personal demons. So it was good.…
