You ever see that Tumblr post saying someone should write a book about how one's birthmarks are just the scars of how we previously died? Or that deja vu is actually our brains remembering our past lives? This is that book, and it's awful.…

I loved the premise of the book, at the beginning there is a bit of a wall to climb until it gets interesting. After the third or fourth chapter the story really gets moving and is exhilarating until the sad plain brick wall that is the…

I would have given this book another star if it hadn't left me wanting so much more at the end. If a sequel wasn't planned in the first place, then this book needed to be at least twice as long to answer a lot of questions. I was really…

The creativity and the unravelling of the story was so captivating, the ending felt somewhat bland in comparison.
But as a whole it felt like it was the right way to end it.

I love this book so much!! I really hope there is a sequel (the ending just wasn't the end)! I recommend this to anyone who enjoys a great, tragic romance novel.

Whether you are a believer in reincarnation or not you will love this book. The book talks of a powerful relationship which transcends lifetimes. The love between two people thrives death and destruction and leaves us the readers turning…

I'm a sucker for these kinds of stories and I wanted to love it, but unfortunately I just liked it. There were enjoyable parts to the story - Daniel's thoughts on memory, the different types of memory - but some of the rest of the story…

Great concept, great read, but I'm not 100% satisfied with the ending despite liking parts of it...!
I would not have finished reading this if it was not recommended to me. The characters were flat, the premise was lame and the ending - well, what ending? I just hope my niece does not ask me how I enjoyed her recommendation.

It's a good book but the ending almost makes me mad for reading it -- it leaves you with so many questions. Its very unsatisfying. I wish i read the reviews before I read so I knew to expect that the ending will not make me happy.…

Interesting concept, but ultimately predictable and simplistic with two-dimensional characters. I expected better, judging by the premise, so was disappointed.

I listened to this on CD and really enjoyed it! I got caught up in the romance between Daniel and Sophia (or actually Daniel and Lucy). I also found Brashares take on reincarnation and Daniel's memory of it all quite fascinating.

I really hope there is supposed to be a sequel to this, otherwise the ending was extremely unsatisfying. If there is a sequel, I will probably read it as I actually enjoyed this book until the last handful of pages. I was slightly…

Interesting souls travelling back and forth through time but disappointing ending. It leaves you hanging for a sequel.

Loved the concept of the book and I was swayed by Daniel's devotion and love for Lucy (some would say it's excessive but I'm a romantic at heart).
The ending wasn't the most satisfying but I'm assuming she left the ending like that…
