Reflects the time it was published with some stereotypes of high schools (jocks,/ and nerds being separate species ect) but otherwise an interesting read. Provides a view of the tension around being a gay teen in the early 2000s, and is…

This book was very okay. It was a good concept and kept me laughing a good amount. However, characters are my favorite part of a book, and so many if them were just AWFUL people. Even the protagonist was kind of annoying. The only decent…

Geography Club was a quick and easy read that manages to tackle the very complex landscape of being closeted in high school. The book also touches upon the feeling of being trapped in this social environment of fear that high school…

I absolutely loved this book! It has a universal theme of being an outcast and finding support in the face of adversity. It was a great read, because I could relate to the main character in more ways than just being an outcast. If you are…

Great book for older teenagers in the glbtq community. Personally I loved it and found myself rooting for Russell to make the right choices even if they weren't the easy ones. Tackles bullying, coming out, GSA's, etc. Coming of age tale.

Pretty good book that all questioning teens should read. Anyone who thinks the subject matter is inappropriate for teenagers is ignoring the reality of all teenagers. They're not as ignorant or unable to discern right from wrong as you…

I thought this was a pretty good book about the struggles of being gay in high school and coming out. I don't remember reading anything that was explicit. I don't know what all these bad reviews are about!

(If kids are so savvy, so good at discerning right from wrong, why doesn't the law allow them to buy cigarettes, or pornographic magazines? Since they are so smart, should these kinds of laws, created to PROTECT THEM, be abolished?) What…

Yes, very poorly written and adult themes. Nothing to commend this book to kids. (People who couldn't find anything "explicit" probably are too young to understand, therefore shouldn't even be reading this book in the first place.)

Very poorly written book with subjects not suitable to the young. This book should be placed in the adult area of libraries.

This book is basically a gay-themed coming-of-age story. It has strong language. On chapter one the main character (a minor boy) goes on line and finds a gay chatroom from his town. He meets someone (who he believes to be an adult male)…

BEWARE! the THOUGHT POLICE do not want you to read this book. It is well written from the point of view that needs to be told. The boy does not go to meet an, "adult male" who he met on the internet!!!! But you will have to read it to see…
