I found that this book tended to drag and then toward the end things speeded up.
I did enjoy it but it could have been a little shorter. However there were some interesting descriptions about how some things were done then and of course the rich and royalty litteraly got away with murder.I found that this book tended to drag and then toward the end things speeded up.

The plot didn't really make much sense to me. At the end, the reason for the extravagant crime spree wasn't really explained. The story seemed to drag and get a bit too confusing. I think the authors think that dragging the story out and being many pages long means it is a
good book to read. I was disappointed that I wasted my time reading this book. Mr. Patterson you need to improve your writing! The plot didn't really make much sense to me. James Pattersons books seem to be becoming more and more violent and brutal.
I will likely not read the rest of this book for that reason. Why is it always women
are being violated and tortured and brutalized. There is too much detailed description as to what was done to them. I like to read in the evening because it relaxes me and then I go to sleep. This book is likely to give one nightmares. I will think twice about reading any more books by this author.James Pattersons books seem to be becoming more and more violent and brutal.

What a confusing book. The author prattles on and on and in the end I didnt really care what happened as I had already lost interest in this book.

I read the first chapter and closed the cover and decided NOT to read any more of this book.
I do not need to read about sheep being butchered so cruelly right from the start. There is enough brutality and cruelty in the world and I do not need to bring that into my home. I guess I need to read lighter fare. It is really sad that authors feel they have to be so descriptive
with brutality in their books.I read the first chapter and closed the cover and decided NOT to read any more of this book.

I started reading this one and after a couple of chapters got turned off by the violence
and brutality. I have noticed before that some of Patterson's books go into too much
detail with regard to all the atrocities that some of the victims experienced. I am not faint
of heart but wonder if all that detail is necessary.Very disturbing sometimes.I started reading this one and after a couple of chapters got turned off by the violence

Just finished reading two books about Bailey Ruth. The books sounded more like fashion magazines with all the descriptions of clothing. I found the books dragged and I soon
lost interest in them. The plots were rather weak and boring. I found this book slow moving and had trouble finishing it. It reads more like a travel book on Italy and Bologna. The ending was rather weak too.

Couldnt get into this book. I didnt like the way it started out and found it rather wishy washy and full of too many details that detracted from the story. Needless to say I did not finish it

I was a bit disappointed in this book. Not really too much about a ghost as the title implies.
The book meanders along and by the end of the book I kind of lost the story along the way. Enjoyable but not one of M. C. Beatons best

Another good book by Sandra Brown. It could do with fewer sexual details...........I would have enjoyed this book as much without the details. She must use the same old script for the sex parts and all her books are the same when describing the intimate details. Getting ho hum and could do without them in my opinion.Another good book by Sandra Brown. It could do with fewer sexual details...........I would have enjoyed this book as much without the details. I was disappointed in this one.
A rather ho hum book. More of the same back and forth between Ranger and Morelli in the romance department. Its the same old formula and it is getting boring. Time to retire them all.

I am enjoying reading this book.
Too bad it is a paperback and the printing is quite small and close together. Large print edition would have been nice or just a regular hardcover.

This book started out okay then kind of dragged for awhile. Some of the details regarding the way the villain killed Dr. Werner and took over his identity make me wonder how he did it. Did he bother to change clothes with him and if he didn't, didn't anyone notice that. At the end of the book it seemed like the author was in a big hurry to finish the book. I tend to agree with Connie Fletcher (Booklist) when she comments on Stone and his ex-wife and all these women throwing themselves at Stone. Frankly I find his ex wife a bit of a pain. I don't think too many men would be happy in a relationship with her. It seem like Parker is in a fantasy world when it comes to women's behaviour.I tend to agree with Connie Fletcher (Booklist) when she comments on Stone and his ex-wife and all these women throwing themselves at Stone.
